This is a Christmas song in the way I use the word cheer and joy, but in a way it’s a song about wishes. I realize it can also be a birthday song. 9 has always been one of my favorite numbers. I guess this year, what I really want is for my music to matter and be part of someone’s joyful memories. Christmas, birthdays, celebrations. This is my wish.
