Today I decided, I’m going to spend a few hours writing different themes on a piece of paper and keep them in a candy dish by my keyboard. Everyday I’m going to pull the theme out and write a song around the theme. Kind of like my version of “Christmas Song Chopped” which is the Food Network show that’s playing behind me in my video.

I was reading an article about Jerry Seinfeld recently and how he writes jokes everyday because he wants to exercise the part of his brain that creates jokes. I feel the same about my music.

This song is about having the spirit of Christmas live in me all year long – even when there are no special boxes to remind me that it is Christmas.
