The Weather Outside is Frightful!!!

Hot hot hot!

Summer is HERE! I am a summer baby myself with a significant amount of island blood – but even I have my limitations. My doctors would prefer I hang out in the sun all day to help my Vitamin-D deficiency, but I like the cold ice box in which I have been preparing new holiday tunes and my upcoming record “Everyday Holidays.”

The one thing I love about the summer months are the summer fruits and veggies! Peaches, plums, berries, corn and zucchini oh my! I could go on and on. 🙂 Cooking and songwriting are completely synergistic activities. I’ve been spending a lot of time listening to music and new mixes, whilst prepping in my kitchen. Ever the consummate multi-tasker, I’ve enjoyed being able to combine two things I love so much. Music and food! 🙂

This July 4th weekend has been less of a holiday for me, as I’m in high holiday season for Christmas projects. I’ve enjoyed this holiday so much. Striking new collaborations that will be announced shortly and working on some pretty exciting new ventures. 🙂
