No. 144 “New Yorkers Hate Snow”

I’ve been having a lot of trouble lately with my Christmas project. I think it felt safe to work on Christmas songs in the warmth of the summer. Since the days have started to get cooler, I’ve started to feel the barometric and real pressure of my Christmas goal. I couldn’t really shake this panic I had in my heart all day. Until I picked up my guitar. Once I started to embrace the season, all my favorite NYC images of Christmas flooded my brain and I added them into this song. It was therapeutic. The stuff that has been causing me angst all day is the same stuff that has helped me to become calm. I know that Christmas music is my calling. Some days are so very hard. I hope you enjoy “New Yorkers Hate Snow.”
