Tomorrow Is A Special Day For Me

There has been so much going on in the past few weeks. Between embarking on my first tour and the Billboard Charts, everything has been going by so quickly for me. I really want to take a beat and share that tomorrow is a really special day for me. In fact, tomorrow is the day I’ve been waiting for all year.

Earlier this past Spring, some dear friends of mine Michael & Annie – who believed in my journey and music had asked if they could include “A Christmas Song” as part of their High School holiday program. This was before the Kickstarter, this was before the radio, before the tour, before the charts. Before we all knew where I’d be at the end of the year.

In fact, their request came at a time when all I had was a litany of closed doors and major failures. Michael and Annie – believed in me and my music enough that they wanted to share it in the way they could.

As a Christmas composer, tomorrow will be such a special day for me because it will be the first time people will be performing my songs for a holiday performance.  This strikes a chord at the heart of the why I do this. For others to share my songs as part of their holiday memories. I have never heard anyone else perform my songs before and to know that a choir of high schoolers will be the first has truly touched my heart. Better than any artist out there in the universe. This is certainly one of the things I’ve been most looking forward to all year.

I won’t be related to anyone in that room – but I will be one of the proudest. I’m going to try and find a video camera and I’m going to pack some tissues and will be cheering from the crowd!

From the bottom of my heart, Thank you to Michael Roberts – who has been such an extraordinary supporter and friend in my Christmas journey, and to his beautiful wife Annie. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to hear my compositions. I cannot wait. I truly cannot wait! 🙂 Dream come true!
